IND vs NZ: Super Sunday… Big match between India and New Zealand, Team India is ready to hunt the Kiwis

The focus of the undefeated Indian team so far will be on playing spin better and in the last group match of the Champions Trophy against New Zealand on Sunday, those players who have been sitting out till now may get a chance. 

By winning the last group match, India will be on top of Group A. Now in the semi-finals, India will face South Africa or Australia and both have excellent spinners.

India has won both the matches, but the spinners have troubled the Indians and the New Zealand team, which has qualified for the semi-finals, can take advantage of this. 

India's star batsmen adopted a risk-averse strategy against Bangladesh spinners Mehdi Hasan Miraz and Riyaz Hussain. They adopted the same strategy against Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed and these three bowlers proved to be very economical.

Now they will face the challenge of Mitchell Santner and Michael Bracewell, which will also be the toughest test for spin in this tournament. Both Kiwi spinners are in good form and can prove to be more effective on the Dubai pitch. 

Indian batsmen have been playing big shots against fast bowlers by taking a few runs off the spinners, but now they have to face Santner and Bracewell for 20 overs while Glenn Phillips is also an irregular spin bowler.

India's experience against Santner and Phillips in the home Test series at the end of last year has not been good. India had to face a 0-3 defeat in that and now here along with these two, there is also Bracewell who has bowled miserly in the two matches so far. In such a situation, Shubman Gill, who is in form, Virat Kohli, who scored an unbeaten century against Pakistan, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul will have to perform effectively.
 
Before the tournament, India was being criticized for selecting five spinners (Ravindra Jadeja, Akshar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakraborty and Washington Sundar) in the team, but the dominance of spinners here has strengthened India. The pitches of this ground in Dubai, which recently hosted the ILT20, are no longer fresh, which is helping the spinners.

India has fielded Jadeja, Akshar and Kuldeep in two matches and all three have been effective. They did not allow the batsmen to score freely in the middle overs and the economy rate has remained below five. 

Despite the century partnership of Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel against Pakistan, not many runs could be scored from the 11th to 34th overs when the ball was with the spinners. Pakistani batsmen could not hit a four for 9 consecutive overs.

However, New Zealand has batsmen like Kane Williamson, Will Young, Tom Latham, Devon Conway who can play spin very well. India would like to maintain the winning momentum, but captain Rohit Sharma and Mohammad Shami can be given rest before the semi-finals. 

Rohit was feeling uncomfortable due to the heat against Pakistan and he remained out of the field for 20 minutes. However, he did not face any problem in batting.

However, nothing is at stake in this match, so Rohit can be given a break. In such a situation, Rishabh Pant can get a chance to play his first match in the tournament. 

Shami was also having trouble with his calf and he can also get a recovery break. In such a situation, Arshdeep can come in his place and Chakraborty can be fielded in place of Kuldeep.
