PM Kisan 19th Installment: PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has made the lives of farmers easier. So far, an amount of more than ₹ 3.46 lakh crore has been given by PM-KISAN Yojana.
More than 11 crore farmers have got the benefit of this scheme in 18 installments. Also, due to the big efforts made by the central government, the number of people receiving benefits in the 18th installment has increased to 9.58 crores.
Now farmers are eagerly waiting for PM Kisan 19th Installment. But the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana will be available only to those farmers who are registered in the Farmer Registry.
The Government of India has decided that from December 2024, the benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be given to the farmers without farmer registration.
If you want to take continuous benefit of PM Kisan Scheme, then you will have to get farmer registration done now. The time to register the farmer is 31 January 2025.
The purpose of getting farmer registry done is to prevent land fraud. People will know who owns how much land. This will prevent land theft. Farmers will also get the facilities available on land easily.
This is how to get Farmer Registry done: 1. Any person can use the Kisan Farmer Registry online by visiting the upfr.agristack.gov.in portal. For this, he must have Khatauni, Aadhar card and mobile number linked to Aadhar card. You can register yourself through the Kisan Registry UP mobile app or a web portal called upfr.agristack.gov.in.
Any person needs an Aadhaar linked mobile number for Aadhaar OTP to register a farmer by visiting the Common Service Center (CSC). Farmer registration can be done with the Gata number (it is better if there is a copy of the Khatauni).
For farmer registration, you can also contact the Panchayat Assistant, Lekhpal or Agriculture Technical Assistant.
To avail the benefits of government schemes, the former registry should be transparent. Benefits of the former registry:
- Farmers will not need to get EKYC done frequently after Farmer Registry. They will be entitled to crop insurance, Samman Nidhi, disaster relief and crop loan.
- Without any documents, you can get a loan of Rs 2 lakh in a day through digital KYC from the bank.
- The benefit of subsidy will be available transparently in all the schemes of Agriculture and Agriculture Department.
- Farmers will get disaster relief and compensation from crop loan and crop insurance.
- Farmers can be registered online for procurement at Minimum Support Price (MPS).
- Farmers will get fair price for their crops by connecting with institutional buyers.
- Real time Khatauni is updated in Farmer Registry all the time.
- With other updates including Farmer Registry, it will be easier for farmers to avoid fraud.
- The last date to register in Farmer Registry is 31st January 2025.
