Greater Noida Phase 2 has been approved. Under this, 144 villages will be developed. The Chief Town and Country Planner of the UP government has approved the master plan of Greater Noida Phase-2. Under this project, Greater Noida Phase-2 will be developed on 55,970 hectares of land.
This new city will be developed from Gautam Buddha Nagar to Gulavathi in Bulandshahr. Under the master plan project, 144 villages of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Hapur and Dhaulana have been identified.
The highlights of the master plan
Residential project: Under the master plan, 17.40 percent of the total land has been reserved for residential schemes. New residential projects will be developed here
Business and Shopping Hub: 4.8 per cent of the total land of the project has been earmarked for business hub and shopping centre.
Industrial Development: Maximum 25.4% of land has been reserved for industrial projects, which will promote industrial development.
Educational Institutions: 10.4% of the land will be used for major educational institutions like universities, medical colleges, engineering colleges etc.
Transportation network: 13.2% of land is reserved for transportation facilities, including key projects such as metro and high-speed train.
Environmental Protection: 22.5% of the land has been reserved for green area, so that environmental protection can be given priority.
Greater Noida Authority CEO Ravi Kumar NG said that after passing the master plan in the village board meeting, it has now got the approval of the Chief Town Planner of UP. Now it will be sent to the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet and Delhi-NCR Planning Board for final approval. The implementation of the master plan will give impetus to industrial and other development projects in Greater Noida Phase-2, which will ensure the overall development of the area.
